If your fryer’s already got a breaded nugget doing the rounds, Meadow Vale’s battered version is worth putting next to it rather than instead of it. The coating’s smoother and a bit thinner than breadcrumb, so it cooks up differently — less crunch, more of a light, even bite. Some kitchens just prefer it that way, and it gives you something to offer when a customer asks for “the other kind.”

Six 1kg packs per case, which is smaller than most of our frozen ranges on purpose. If nuggets aren’t your biggest seller, or you’re trying this out before committing to a bigger order, 6kg is the right size to start with.

Storage & handling

Keep it frozen, right up until you’re ready to cook. Once a pack’s opened and starts to thaw, don’t put it back in the freezer — use it that day instead. Keep it away from anything raw or ready-to-eat on the shelf, and when it’s cooking, give it long enough that it’s hot all the way through, not just on the outside. Older stock first, as always.
