Cooking directions

Cook from frozen for the best result and don’t thaw first unless you’re adjusting the time down to suit. However you’re cooking them, check they’re piping hot all the way through before serving, not just golden on the outside.

Oven: Preheat to around 200–220°C and bake on a tray until golden and cooked through, turning once partway for even colour.

Deep fry: Heat oil to 180°C and fry until the coating’s golden and the nuggets are cooked through — a few minutes is usually enough, but always check rather than go by time alone.

These are general guidelines rather than exact rules, since ovens, fryers and batch sizes all vary slightly.

Storage

Keep frozen at -18°C or below until ready to cook. If a pack starts to thaw, use it the same day rather than refreezing, and keep it well away from anything raw or ready-to-eat in storage.
